The Annular Solar Eclipse of 2019, a landmark event where we took a significant step in making astronomy accessible to the public.
We designed and distributed over 4.5 lakh eclipse-watching goggles, ensuring safe solar observation for thousands of people. In collaboration with various organizations, we hosted more than 100 Eclipse Watch Parties across South India, transforming the celestial spectacle into a shared community experience.
More than just an observation event, the Eclipse Watch Party is an educational initiative aimed at fostering a deeper understanding of astronomy and celestial mechanics. By merging scientific knowledge with real-time experiences, the Eclipse Watch Party has become a platform of celebration with cultural programs, food fests, and various such events.
